Manifesting results we want in our lives--like more wealth, better health, happier relationships, etc.--can happen in two different ways.
(1) We can simply do nothing, wait, and hope that they arrive by pure happenstance, or
(2) we can be diligent each and every day to put effort into bringing the results we want closer to us.
I don't know about you, but I'm setting up my tent in the second camp! This is because I know that manifestation is not a mystery. Manifesting our desires, which begin as fuzzy thoughts, into our everyday reality is a process we can master.
Knowledge, by itself, produces nothing. It's the combination of knowledge, intent, desire, and action that really starts to make things happen.
It's like having knowledge about how to grow a garden. If you want big, healthy vegetables, you certainly must have gardening knowledge. But only when you see yourself picking ripe fresh tomatoes and enjoying them so much, will the desire move you.
The desire to fulfill your vision takes you straight to the actions of buying, planting, and watering the seeds. Once this process is complete, the vegetable garden can become a reality.
There is a technique available right now for manifesting our dream life. Here's the step-by-step process revealed for you:
1. Determine the Ideal
Ask yourself, "in the ideal world, what would be different about my current situation" or "if I could have absolutely any outcome I wanted for this particular problem, what would that look like". Be very specific and don't get bogged down with you think may not be possible. Brainstorm at least 3 different answers. If you catch that little voice in the back of your head saying, "no, that's not possible", you must ignore it. Choose your favorite ideal.
2. Virtual-ize the Ideal
Pretend the ideal has occurred. Close you eyes and imagine that it's about to happen, that it does happen, and that it already happened. Feel grateful that the ideal did happen, and understand how it changes your life.
Of course you know that your ideal scenario did not happen in your "real" life, but that it is working in your "virtual" life. When you can exist in both your "real" life and your "virtual" life simultaneously, you are making progress. The more consistently you can exist with one foot in both worlds, the closer they will move toward each other.
3. Realize the Ideal
As your "virtual" life gets very close to your "real" life, you will feel it so powerfully that you have no choice but to speak about it as truth. You will have no choice but to take actions toward your "virtual" life that begin to place it in your reality. You start to look forward to it so much that the joy of having your "virtual" life soaks through you.
4. Manifest the Ideal
This is the point at which your "virtual" and "real" lives merge completely.
The real trick to Step #2, Virtual-ize the Ideal, is to spend time focusing on exactly what you want. Many people are so frustrated and upset about not having what they want, that they focus on their lack. This, of course, creates the complete opposite result that we want.
There are some powerful visualization tools that can be used to imprint your "virtual" life into your subconscious. This will speed up the time it takes to move into Step #3 and to accomplish Step #4.
So be sure to catch your mind sneaking off to think about the wrong things, and pull it back into concentration on the right things. For instance, always believe:
• that you have a right to have what you want
• that you are personally worthy of anything you want
• that the world has plenty of whatever you want to go around
• that there is a higher purpose in having what you want
• that having what you want is attainable
• that you are already grateful for your future abundance
• that negative thoughts never serve you
Master the 4-step manifestation process, keep your thoughts focused on what is positive and productive, and you'll be surprised how quickly you can manifest your dream life

You're the Greatest
By Fred Nicklaus
When I was a child I had many sports heroes. I was born in 1957 so I was a big fan of Lombardi's Green Bay Packers of the 1960's. I can vividly remember watching each play of the famous Ice Bowl game with my father and brother. I remember sobbing painfully when I thought that my beloved Packers would lose that game and I also remember celebrating ecstatically as Bart Starr snuck into the end zone to score the winning touchdown. What a feeling!
Another hero of my early years was Cassius Clay. Many of you young people would know him as Muhammad Ali. Clay was a brazen, skillful, fast as lightning heavyweight boxer. Crowds admired him for his skills, but despised him for his bravado and cockiness. Many watched him because they wanted to see him lose.
Did you know?
Cassius Clay was a quiet, unassuming young man in his early boxing career. That would all change the night that he went to see a professional wrestling show featuring Gorgeous George. George was as loud, arrogant, and irreverent as anyone Clay had ever seen. He realized immediately that there was a certain amount of self- promotion missing from his act. Clay noticed George's display and also noticed that the arena was full to the rafters. There were 5000 people in the arena. Clay's biggest crowd to that time was 1500. That would change very soon. It was at that wrestling event that Cassius Clay became "The Greatest." Clay realized that even though he was blessed with amazing boxing skills, he would have to change his presentation and his way of thinking if he were to become the popular success that he envisioned himself to be.
You must understand that Clay/Ali was a very intelligent man and a student of the power of visualization and of positive self talk. He was who he was, as good as he was, because he gave himself permission to be and he believed strongly in the power of his visualizations.
You've all seen one or all of the Rocky movies by now. You've watched as Rocky runs up the many stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Arts. As he reaches the top of the stairs he throws his arms into the air a symbol of triumph and his readiness to fight for the heavyweight championship of the world. What a great symbol. Any idea where the hands over head in celebration came from? You guessed it, Muhammad Ali.
"I am the Greatest"
Whether you're a champion athlete or you're an average guy or gal who has big dreams and wants to be a champion, you can kick your subconscious mind into gear by seeing yourself as a winner in whatever endeavor you want to achieve championship status in.
Here's a few tips:
1. Close your eyes and see yourself with arms raised in celebration before whatever contest you might enter. Do the work and visualize yourself winning regularly and you'll be pleasantly surprised by how often it becomes reality
2. Say the words to yourself (say them out loud)
"I will ace this test"
"I am a champion"
"I expect big things of myself"
"I will win"
3. Do it while you're looking in a mirror.
4. Do it everyday for 2-3 minutes 2-3 times per day.
This may feel a bit uncomfortable to you as you start. All good things take time. Don't give up.
Understand this reality- your subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between real and unreal. It will, however, turn your life into that which you consistently think about and focus on. Think as if you already possess the quality that you seek. Your mind is your greatest tool. Utilize it well and fill it with good thoughts and incredible goals.
You too can be "The Greatest"
Make the plan, work the plan-

How to Win
By Phillip McGough
I recently had an opportunity to hear the former coach of the Dallas Mavericks, Avery Johnson, give an excellent speech on winning. I took his topic and give it a slight spin to make it a 'how to' manual on how you can always win in life. Most people don't know where to start when they are trying to change something about themselves. I think that these ten steps can be a launching pad for how to get where you want to be.
1. Get excited! I know, it's kind of cheesy. Of course we are excited about some of the things around us. The key to this step is to always be excited, about everything. Even I will sometimes find it hard to be excited. Here's a tip: it's easy to be excited as long as you are grateful. Start by listing the things you are grateful for, like your family or your house or your dog, whatever. Once you are thankful for the things you already have, it's easy to be excited about your life.
2. Expect to win. I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, your mindset is everything! What if you are expecting to win but things are not changing. The easiest solution is to change your environment. If you want to go to the mountaintop you can't hang with people who only want to live in the valley. It will be hard to cut some of the people in your life, but remember you are the average of the five people you hang out with most. Do the people you currently keep company with have stinkin' thinkin'?
3. Eliminate bad habits that stop you from being a winner. This is actually easier than you think. You already know what sabotages your success. To push you in the right direction, make a list of two things you need to stop, two things you need to keep doing and two things you need to start doing.
4. Eliminate envy. Who are you envious of? Whether you want to admit it or not, there is someone in your life that you wish you could be them by rubbing a magic lamp. Say to yourself, "I'm next." Don't you think it's better to surround yourself with that person and encourage them, rather than roll your eyes their way every time something good happens to them? Instead pick their brains so you are prepared when you get to their level.
5. Evaluate your gifts. What can you do, right now, to better your situation? What do you love? When I asked myself this question, travel and helping people popped into my mind, hence my passion for what I do now. Do you want the money that jingles or the money that folds? I want the money that folds, how can you get some?
6. Educate yourself. Read good books. Listen to good audios. You want more income but do you want the added responsibility it would bring? The standards are higher with each step you take upwards. Is your mind ready for that step? Make it ready.
7. Strive for excellence. Be the best at what you are currently doing until you even think about moving higher. Are you stuck at your job? If you feel stuck it could mean that you are done with that challenge and ready for a new one. When you start your new challenge, don't expect to be the best right out of the gate. Take all the advice you can get and apply what you learn. By application comes domination.
8. If you don't get what you want you want to be sure you go back and try again. You may have to step back to step up. Have you ever set a goal for yourself that you didn't accomplish? I have, we all have. The key to failing is the willingness to start again. Reset your goal. The fact that you didn't hit it the first time doesn't mean that you never will. Think about it this way. If you just reset your goal, don't you think it will be easier to achieve the second time around?
9. Enjoy the ride. At the end of the day, it's all about growing and becoming a better person. Stop and smell the roses. Reward your baby steps. It's all about your journey.
10. Walk, talk, dress, think, eat and live like a winner. Act as if and people will come to know you as that person you want to be. Who do you want to be?

Celebrating Success
By Jeffrey Thomson
In today's world we get so caught up in our day to day activities and the routines of life we have a tendency to overlook all the success we have each day. We tend to view success as only a few significant events in our life such as graduating from college, getting married, our first job, our first child, our first big promotion. What happens when we achieve these goals? Or even worse what happens if we don't achieve any or some of these events? Does this mean we aren't successful or we are done being successful? All too often it does. The good news is this does not need to be the case and the reality is we experience success every day of our lives we just forget to celebrate this success. Because many of our day to day successes aren't marked with a big celebration they seem to loose their value. We do a disservice to these events and ourselves by allowing this happen. We also create feelings of failure and lack of success by not truly recognizing all that we do each day that helps to make us happy and successful. We also risk loosing momentum towards larger success by giving up on all the little steps necessary by not putting value on them.
When we put value and recognize the little progress we make each day towards our larger goal we stay more motivated and on track to ensure we achieve our fullest potential. If you want to run a marathon you don't just go out that day and run 26 miles. If you want to be a tremendous success in business you don't just wake up one morning and are running a $500 million company. Whatever you are looking to achieve in life the steps along the way and the overall mindset of success are critical. We need to celebrate each days success and build on it for the next day and begin to create a true mindset of success. We need to start thinking of ourselves as successful and then live into that reality. We do create our own reality and by thinking we are a success or thinking we are not that is exactly what we are.
I know all of this sounds great on paper and seems easy to do but how do we implement it into our lives and how do we make both the celebration and the act itself a habit thus ensuring greater success? The good news is that is the easy part we just need to be diligent in our efforts. The easiest way to start is to spend a few moments at the end of each day and write down 3-5 successes you had that day. You may be saying to yourself I don't have that many successes each day. First that is probably not true, you just aren't recognizing everything as a success. Second the number doesn't really matter the habit of spending some time each day and recognizing even a few events that were a success each day will build and before you know it you will have more. The number will also grow because you know at the end of each day you will be holding yourself accountable for your accomplishments. In addition you can start small and watch the list grow and expand in depth. Let me give a few examples that may help you get started: I got of the house by 7:30 am to be at the office on time, I committed to being at my sons/daughters baseball game and I made it, I ran 3 miles today, I did my morning walk, I finished the report for work, I followed up with my large account today, I didn't eat that donut that was in the coffee break room in the office. As you can see you can use many different aspects of your life to gauge your little daily successes. You can include work, family, personal, health, business, spiritual whatever you feel you wanted to achieve in a given day and were successful in accomplishing that is a success.
Success is a habit and by realizing just how successful we are each day in our lives we realize just how successful we are as individuals and start forming that habit. Good luck each day and congratulations on your success.

Success – A Simple Way To Achieve It Now
By Sacha Tarkovsky
Even the word itself, ‘success’ carries both strong emotions and the shroud of mystery. What is success anyway, and how can one achieve it.
For most people in the world, success has become to mean a level of financial security, along with notoriety and the conviction that one’s tomorrow will be as secure or more than one’s yesterday.
This concept of success is shallow however, as just earning money and being somehow famous does not qualify anyone as a success.
Success is rather, a level of self-confidence that whatever a person does will be achieved in a proficient, honest, and skillful manner.
Should money and / or fame come with it, so much the better.
Down on Your Luck
Many people feel success eludes them as they are down on their luck. Nothing is father from the truth. Luck is nothing more that your state of preparation meeting opportunity.
If you are not ready when an opportunity comes, you cannot seize it, and it passes you by. Most people blame it on bad luck. Its not so.
If you are in some sort of down cycle, you must examine yourself. Ask yourself ‘why’ , and try and see what opportunities passed you by. Were you ready for them?
Turning the Situation Around
If you desire real success, you must be committed to the idea.
Do not look at other people who seemingly have success as a constant companion.
Their stories may reveal (and often do) down periods, bad luck scenarios, and downright failure episodes.
Rather, look to yourself only, determine with the simple steps below what you need to be doing to turn your situation around.
Simple Steps to Reverse a Negative Trend in Your Life
If you have had enough of failure, and wish to turn a negative trend in your life to a positive one, you must first establish the foundation for the positive to have a hold on your life. Follow these easy steps:
1. Banish all negative thoughts from your mind. Replace them with their opposite or positive ones. Let this be a mental exercise if nothing else, but do not harbor any negative thoughts
2. Do some small positive action, without being prompted to. Share even a small bit of your limited resources with someone else who is unfortunate.
3. Create, if you must, a situation where you can achieve even the smallest of victories. Reward yourself thereafter, and then,
4. Move from one easy victory to another, but each with a greater challenge.
Simple Victories To Triumphs
This technique, used throughout the ages by many successful people always works. By beginning with easy and achievable victories, you create also in your mind a positive attitude and a trend begins.
This trend acts as support for your willingness to attempt greater victories and challenges. Chances are you will begin to feel different about yourself in no time.
This one fact alone opens the door for success to come in to you.
Remember, you must follow the 4 steps above without deviation.
Give them a sincere try, and you will see both your "luck" returning and success beckoning to you join in. Your natural state is positive, is successful and is lucky.
You only have to start remembering it.

The Power to Persuade is Essential in Achieving Success
By Audie Perove
If we enter into a profession, we find ourselves constantly faced by the need of persuading our clients and patients, witnesses, judges, juries, opposing counsel and court officers, our congregations and executive boards of our churches and schools, I Individual members of our parishes, our partners and assistants, and, in fact, people above us, below us, and all around us. The farmer must sell his produce, the manufacturer his manufactured article, the railroad its transportation service, wholesale and retail distributors their merchandise. Politics consists almost wholly in persuasion. A congressman must persuade first his party leaders and perhaps his competitor in the party; then the voters at the primaries; then the voters at the election; then the speaker of the House; then the members of his committee; then the President and many executives in the administration; then, perhaps, the House itself in assembly; then, in turn, his constituents and, perhaps, the entire nation.
Wealth cannot be gained, social position cannot be attained, power is impossible, authority is not conferred, pleasure cannot be purchased, a happy and harmonious human life cannot be realized, spiritual peace cannot be found, and happiness is forever beyond our reach, except through the power of persuasion. By persuasion in prayer, we attempt to move the very mind and heart of God Himself.
So all-inclusive is this power that if you will think the matter out clearly, you will see that the answer to the problem of every human being, diverse as these problems are, the gratification of every human desire, the realization of every human ambition, may be summed up in two brief colloquial injunctions, namely: first, have the goods; second, to be able to sell them. Neither one of these is complete without the other. No man can permanently succeed in any truly desirable way unless he has something tangible or intangible, spiritual, intellectual, or material which he can offer to others as compensation for that which he wishes to receive. And no matter how valuable any man's offering, it must lie unnoticed in the world's markets unless he can sell it, in other words, persuade others to exchange for it that which he desires. The thing he wants may be only an opinion or a conviction may be only of momentary value, or it may be a gold or a silver coin.
The air-brake is probably one of the most valuable inventions ever applied to the railroad industry, and yet George Westinghouse, its inventor, found it impossible even to give it away to railroad presidents until he had learned how to sell it. The telephone, perhaps the greatest convenience, luxury, and time and money saver of modern times, would have remained a scientific toy unless the most astute and vigorous methods of persuasion had been used to insure its almost universal adoption and use. We have seen that Elias Howe built the first sewing machine so well that its fundamentals have never been improved upon, and yet, despite his most strenuous efforts and the efforts of his friends and associates, it remained a mere mechanical curiosity until he had learned how to persuade others to use it.
A.F. Sheldon has said, "Salesmanship is not conquest, but co-operation." Salesmanship is only the commercial name for persuasion; therefore Mr. Sheldon has uttered a great truth. Human interests do not clash, however much they may appear to. All human interests are mutual. John D. Rockefeller did not amass a fortune by making others poor. On the contrary, in the building up of his hundreds of millions, he increased the wealth of others by billions. The theory that there is not enough wealth to go around, and that if one man has a great deal of money others must therefore have too little, is a vicious and dangerous fallacy. The resources of the universe are infinite. The possibilities of humanity are unlimited. The interests of all lie, fundamentally, in the greater and greater development of the latent possibilities in all men and the more and more efficient exploitation and conservation of the resources of the universe. This is philosophic. It is a generalization. It is a statement of facts so tremendous in their scope and so deep in their significance that it is difficult to make a connection between them and the practical details of success in every-day life.

Success is as individual as you are.
By Brendan Mckeogh
There are hundreds of books available which claim to be able to teach the secrets of success. And each has at least a snippet of truth, making it a valuable read. But I think too many people get bogged down in the process of "becoming successful" rather than just getting on with what it is they want to achieve.
Everyone's own recipe for success is personal and cannot be simply copied from other's experiences. Reading biographies may inspire us and other people's "can-do" attitudes will rub off on us if we open our minds to new possibilities. But the whole process of becoming successful has become a sort of career in itself for some people - and the sense of fun is then lost.
I think its possible simply to enjoy the small daily achievements - the good day at the office, the small incremental weight loss, a solid hour of piano practice, the extra chin-up achieved or a small increase in one's savings ... any and all of the little steps along the way that are worth taking a moment to pause and smile about, to make a mental note of.
The simple matter of setting a goal can be so daunting that many people never get around to it. Should it be worded in the present tense, as if already achieved, or should it be in the terms or a promise, with a specific date for its accomplishment? How many goals should you set and how often should you pause to visualise the intended outcome? Should you plan individual small steps along the way, with intermediate goals and timelines? Perhaps it's possible to get too wrapped up in analysing the method to either enjoy what you're doing, or progress far along the intended route.
I see goal setting as the writing a of movie script. Its important, but only one part of the movie-making process.
Of course, you must be the script writer in your own life's movie, not just the principal actor. You should also appoint yourself as the director and control as much as is possible of the production - but don't forget there also has to be room to ad-lib, to smile and to enjoy your star billing. No-one knows the running time of their life's movie, just that there will eventually be a "The End" caption. Just a final thought - the cameras are already rolling!
Brendan McKeogh believes that success is different for everyone, but involves enjoying the best of the situation we find ourselves in today, while striving for better tomorrow. He offers free success resources (including two free classic texts) on http://www.freedomfactor.co.uk

5 Day To Overcoming Procrastination
By Dennis Harting
Procrastination is something that creates a lot of havoc in people's lives. Most people know exactly what they need to do for success. The path to achievement in any endeavor is already paved. What separates those who achieve what they desire versus those who fail to do so is the action taken. Successful individuals do the things that creates successful outcomes. This is true whether one is referring to careers, athletics, relationships, or personal development. Success simply is determining what you want, creating a plan for the attainment, and taking action that moves you towards that end.
People who are afflicted with procrastination find it difficult to succeed. Since success is predicated upon action, procrastinators find themselves on the opposite end of the spectrum. Procrastination, by it's very nature, inhibits action. Instead, it breeds stagnation. Productivity is reduced in all areas as this terrible trait gains a hold of one's life. Over time, it assumes more control. The act of putting things off becomes a procrastinator's default mindset.
Procrastination is a habit. It is not something that we are born with. Like most things, it is a trait that is learned through years of experience. Our mind uses this technique to "protect" us from experiencing negative consequences in our lives. Whenever it views a situation as one that might result in pain, our mind seeks ways to prohibit us from moving that way.
Procrastination, derived by the instilling of fear, deters action. We follow the mind's wishes by avoiding the task. Of course, we usually can put off something for only so long, until it is imperative that we complete it. It is at this point where the pain of avoiding is greater than the pain of doing.
How do we go about reversing years of procrastinating habits? Obviously, there will be degrees that each person suffers this. Some people are only mildly afflicted by it. Periodically, they put things off. However, for the most part, they are action-oriented. Then there are those who are totally paralyzed by procrastination. They put off everything. These are the people who's minds instantly tells them "later" whenever confronted with an activity. It matters little how difficult or easy the task is. The default mindset is delay.
Regardless of where you are, this activity will help get you on the path to action. The key to reversing a habit is to develop a new activity and do it over a long enough period of time to form a new habit. In our example we will show 5 days. To form a new habit, it is best to follow this up for a period of 21 days. This exercise is expanded by simply adding more tasks to the list.
To begin with, we are going to make a list of 10 activities we are putting off. If you want to handle the list for the 21 days, then write down 42 actions you are avoiding. It is typically best to start with activities which are fairly easy to accomplish. These tasks are forming our Procrastination List. We make a list putting down all those items we are presently putting off. After we complete our list, we choose two tasks that we are committing to completely the first day. We highlight these activities and put them in our daily planner. Next, we go complete those tasks. We cease thinking about it and simply go ahead. Easier activities are best because they allow us to develop momentum. The first day we cross off two items on our Procrastination List.
Guess what occurs the second day? Obviously, day 2 is a repeat of the first day. Choose two more items, highlight them, put in the daily planner, and complete. Again, we get to cross off two more items. This continues for a full five days. At the end of that time, we completed 10 activities which previously were left incomplete. This will give us tremendous momentum to accomplish more. You will find that your energy levels increasing as you put to rest uncompleted tasks. Energy that was previously spent thinking about an unresolved task is now regained. This will give you the necessary incentive to move forward for the remaining two weeks.
Completing two tasks each day will develop the habit of taking action. If you feel motivated, you can do three a day. I will caution against trying to do too many at one time. That has the tendency to burn one out quickly. It is equally as important to create the habit as it is to complete the activities. Procrastination instills the mindset of putting things off. This exercise will start shaping the mind to think "do it now".

The Coup de Grace for Sustainable Long-Term Success
By Susan L Reid
Goals. We've all set them. We all know the sting of defeat when we don't reach them. So why do we sometimes fail to reach our most cherished goals? Are we missing something here?
Yes, we are. The number one reason goals fail is because we start out by identifying our goals. You heard me. Determining what our goals are is actually the second step we should take. The second, not the first step. There is an all-important "step number one" that we often leave out. Because of this, our goals start off on shaky ground with no foundation for success upon which to build.
What is this all-important first step?
Five Steps to Align Yourself with Success
1. Know who you are and what your purpose is.
Who hasn't wondered who they really are and why they are here? Behind every story of sustained long-term success is someone who knows the answers to these two questions:
* Who are you? * What is your purpose?
Success is generated from the inner place of knowing that what you want will manifest. For that to happen, you must know who you are and what your purpose is. If you don't, then you may reach your goal and not be able to sustain it.
2. Determine your goal.
This step is the first one in most manuals about how to set goals. That's been the problem: the cart has been placed before the horse. Set your goals only after you know the answers to step one, and you will be in a much better place to determine what goals you want. Not what other people want for you. What you want.
* Struggle = Setting goals without knowing who you are and what your purpose is.
3. Affirm it as a done deal.
Affirmations keep you mentally aligned with what you want and who you are. Say your affirmations in the present tense, and say them as if you know they will come to pass. This is the key to saying affirmations correctly.
* Delusion = Affirmation without aligned action.
4. Take aligned action.
Actions keep you moving forward. In order for you to be successful, you will need to take actions that are directly aligned with your goal. If you don't, you will experience frustration; the number one reason people throw in the towel and give up.
* Frustration = Action without alignment.
5. Expect and allow it to come to you.
If step one is the step most often bypassed, then step five is the step most often ignored. However, don't ignore this step! It is not an active action step; it is a state of being. Expecting and allowing something to occur is the opposite of going out and getting it. Being in a state of expectancy and allowing means you actually know your goal will manifest.
* Stuck = Not taking aligned action because you don't believe it's possible.
Coup de Grâce
How many times have you said to yourself, "I'm setting this as my goal, but I have no idea how I'll ever reach it"? Most of us have. The problem is that inherent in this statement is the belief that you can't manifest your goal, and that, even if you do, you won't be able to sustain it. With this kind of belief system in place, you will fail. This is why it's nice to know you have a coup de grâce in your back pocket that you can wield at a moment's notice.
"Coup de grâce" is an expression that means: a deathblow intended to end suffering. Sound rather extreme for the topic of success? Not if you've repeatedly failed at reaching and sustaining your goals. In order for successful goal manifestation to occur, you will need to deliver a firm and decisive deathblow to the dreaded "but... how" statements you're telling yourself. Whenever you hear yourself say or think a "but... how" statement, do these two things:
* Immediately stop what you are saying.
* Counter by taking an aligned action toward your goal.
We've all struggled with how to manifest and sustain long-term success. Well, struggle no more. Know who you are and what your purpose is. Only then will you be able to move past the fear and desperation that thwarts long-term success and into a place of inner strength and confidence that sustains it. And by diligently applying the coup de grâce, you will be able to manifest your goals successfully, each and every time.

Have You Ever Felt A Sense Of Achievement
By Sam Crowley
Achievements, whether large or small, are spring boards to a successful life.
In life there are so many negative things which we hold onto. The past can often hold us back and it seems to be so much easier to just think about the negative things that have happened to us, rather than the positive. However if we continue to live our lives thinking about things which we cannot change instead of thinking about the things that we can, we will never truly feel a sense of achievement in life.
What have you achieved?
Even though we do mainly only think about the negative incidents a lot of the time, there are things in our lives which we have achieved. It is important to recognise these achievements if we are to live a fulfilled and happy life and also so that we go on to achieve even more great things too.
Your past achievements could include:
Finding a new job Completing your education Overcoming a personal struggle Getting married Raising children
No matter what it is, you will have some previous achievements no matter how down about yourself you feel. Make a list of your own achievements and that will make you realise just how well you have handled past situations and how strong you truly are.
Once you have written down what you have achieved, it is then time to write down what you want to achieve in the future.
What do you want to Achieve?
Thinking about what you want to achieve in the future will help you to stay focused. People who do not strive to be the best that they can be and who do not try to achieve everything that they want to achieve are simply not living a very fulfilling life.
Absolutely anything that you want can be achieved somehow. It might not be easy and very likely it will take a lot of hard work; but it can be achieved. If you want it badly enough you will find a way to make it happen.
For example, if you want a new job - you can find one. There are so many ways in which you can look for a job; and if you have not got the right skills just yet for the job that you need, you can easily get them by going to college part time. It is easier to think that you cannot achieve the skills that you need when the reality is that if you want it bad enough, you really can.
No matter what you want to achieve it can be done and that is the main thing that you need to remember. Forget about the excuses that hold you back. You deserve to achieve whatever it is that you want to achieve. Surround yourself with inspiration as well as motivation and that way you will be able to stay positive and remember what is truly important. Write your future goals down and state clearly what you need to do to achieve those goals.
Overall there really is no greater sense of pride than knowing that you have achieved something which you wanted to achieve. Recognize your past achievements and remember how good you felt when you achieved them. A fulfilled life cannot be led if there is no achievement within it.

Learning How To Move On
By Sam Crowley
Leave your failures behind but be sure to take the learnings with you. Most importantly, learn to move on.
In order to live your life the way that you truly want to, there are various things which you need to do. Letting go is just one of them and it is perhaps one of the most important things which you will need to learn to do.
Perhaps you need to move on from the past? Or maybe you need to move on from a failed relationship? No matter what it is that is holding you back, by letting go and moving on you are allowing yourself to be truly happy.
Moving On and Achieving Success
If you want to be successful in life you will need to know where you are going. You also need as much positive energy surrounding you as possible so that you do not get held back. By allowing something to hold you back you can only stay in the same, unfulfilling life as what you are currently leading; and generally that is not a very healthy existence.
By learning to move on you are learning to accept that sometimes there is nothing else you can do. You can fight it and stay tied to the past, wallowing in self defeat, or you can pick yourself up and really make something of yourself. Everybody goes through something that they wish they hadn't, but they cannot change it and by realizing that they learn that they have to move on.
Think of all of the things that you could achieve:
Meeting someone new Moving away and starting again Moving up the career ladder
Whatever you want to do you can do. Only you can change your life and you can do that by picking up the pieces and moving on. Whatever has happened in the past can spur you on to achieve something better in your future. We shape our lives and we are the only ones who can change things for ourselves.
Just because a relationship did not work out, it does not mean that you will not find your ideal partner. It takes time but eventually the damage will heal and you will be able to move on and find somebody who you truly deserve to be with.
The main way to look at your past is to see it as a learning curve. Just think you have to make some poor choices in order to recognize the good ones. In the case of a bad relationship, how can you possibly know when you are onto a good thing if you have never experienced a bad thing? Sometimes you have to go through hard times in order to fully appreciate the good times.
Overall you need to appreciate that what has happened is in your past; and now with the right inspiration and motivation, you can move on to a better future. By moving on and letting go you will feel a lot better and in turn you will look a lot better too. You never truly realize just how much you are being held back until you actually do let go and move on.
